Kristin Withrow joined Golden State Family Services in 2003. Kristin has a Master’s Degree in Social Work and began working for the agency as a Social Worker and currently serves as the Adoptions Program Director and Administrator of the agency’s Adoptions Program. Kristin oversees the Resource Family Approval and Family Development Departments and works diligently with our staff and communities to continue to grow our foster and adoption families. Kristin was instrumental in the development of the Full-Service Adoption and Treatment Foster Care Programs with GSFS. She also does program (Request for Proposal) and grant writing for the agency and assists with annual CARF accreditation. Prior to her time at GSFS she worked in mental health at a women’s prison and truly enjoyed this work. She is committed to providing exceptional services to the families and children she works with. She has a true passion for helping children, individual and families feel “whole”.

Kristin has three beautiful and bubbly girls. She enjoys spending time outdoors running mountain trails, hiking, and skiing.
