Tonja Wilson joined Golden State Family Services in 2011. Tonja has a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She began as a Social Worker I and has held several supervisory roles and became a Program Director in 2018.  Currently, Tonja oversees the Intensive Services Foster Care (ISFC) Program and assists in the Adoptions Department and Tulare Office.  Tonja is dedicated to ensuring quality foster homes for the children we serve and empowers both our foster parents and children by showing continued compassion and commitment.

Tonja is married to her college sweetheart, Matt and together they have three beautiful loving children.  Tonja truly enjoys spending time with her immediate and extended family and enjoys traveling and spending time on the beach every chance she gets.
