Crystal Chavez-Fullner began working for Golden State Family Services in 2004. Crystal has a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. She began as a Social Worker Intern and has now been a Program Director since 2010, previously overseeing the Tulare and Hanford Offices. Currently, Crystal oversees our Tulare Office,  Special Projects Unit which includes program, policy, and grant writing, marketing, and fundraising,. Crystal was and remains involved in our accreditation process and is currently our Corporate Compliance Officer. In this role, Crystal ensures the agency remains in compliance with all standards mandated by CARF and the state and ensures risk management for our employees and all persons served. Crystal is committed to engaging and networking with the community to share the quality services GSFS provides to our children and families and to foster community support for the children of our future. 

Crystal is married to her long-time best friend, Aaron and together they enjoy the silliness of their two fur babies.  Crystal enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, yoga, enjoys small DIY projects , and is working on improving her sewing skills.
